You are making the mistake of thinking a ribbon is going to change anything. If the doors are smashed close a ribbon not going to change anything. Same if they are too drunk to pull an emergency release. Let the Darwin Awards begin!

You are being overly sensitive and thinking about this too much. Here is the simple equation:

Will making the emergency release easier to see/find hurt? No
Will making the emergency release easier to see/find help? Maybe/Yes

Its a no-brainer!

P.S. I am glad you have been able to determine the results of 2 court causes before they even begin without any direct observation of the facts/arguments. You should call the courts and save everyone's time and money.

We can also do custom colors if you want high-vis, glow in the dark, or something that matches your build. Just throwing it out there for anyone who doesn’t want to DIY a strap or cord.

Can’t have it all I suppose, but the main drawback for me is that I have kids back there and at least once a week I take out the little insert covers I have to wash them. And they do get quite nasty. Formula, Cheetos, “moist” ring pops and that sort of thing.
