Jeff, the guy is asking a valid question. As a 12 year different teslas owner, I'll say some shit needs work. Like my model X that had never ending falcon door issues. I love my foundation series but if you live in a northern climate, stick cameras, full self driving doesn't always do the job. And I defend all my Tesla's to the hillbillies all the time. Why do you need a video rearview mirror? The screen has a very nice rear view camera that shows everything behind you perfectly. Had my truck since early Foundation release. I removed the wimpy little rear view mirror the first day snd never missed it for a second,
In my experience installing a rearview camera old fashioned mirror thing is a waste of money time and adds nothing to driving safety or even convenience.
You’re stuck in the past.
Now that I can stare at the screen using FSD without getting reprimanded by the system- Looking at the screens rearview camera is not a problem / and I can make the rearview take up the entire screen if I want.
Try driving using only the built in rearview camera image on the screen and it will become obvious that nothing else is needed….
Saying "don't live in the past" is not needed.
I'm sure your reply will be just as hostile.
but as a 2013 P85+ owner, 2 model X's, Model 3 performance, Foundation Cyber. I know my shit. And been through the all the stock investments thick and thin.
keep it positive or troll the fuck off.
