Personally I was stoked to have Tesla install an OEM lightbar and all I had to do was undo a bolt and connect a plug. I'll take that any day over effing with wiring aux switches and aftermarket lights for my other commercial trucks. Also, maybe because I'm in the Midwest but I've never seen anyone cover their lightbars..Tesla sold Foundation Cybertruck buyers a lightbar that Tesla will not completely install to make it workable. Even if a buyer could get it wired to light up, once installed it cannot be driven on a public road in any state even with the lights off in the US without the risk of a citation. Tesla also did not make a viable, easily on and off removable cover, so having a lightbar makes a $ 100k plus truck an off-road vehicle only. No commerical company makes a cover due the Tesla design and installation. So the only option is black tape. If the windshield is damaged, the lightbar also must be removed too And if replaced, it is at the buyers expense. What a company! Who is the fool, the fool, or the fool who follows the fool?
