I still have alerts setup when any used CyberTrucks go on sale. They seem to be holding value pretty well. I bought mine used last year for 78k. It was a FS with higher miles (~21k). I just saw a used one pop up yesterday with 35k miles asking 75k.

2024 FS Cyberbeast only 6,197 were made, this will be the most appreciated truck ever.
figure 15-18% have been Lemon lawed or totaled, leaves 4,500 left.

I priced out a 2025 leftover, still $115k, 2026 is $120k before taxes. 3.99% is not low enough, with this trade in offer, Zero percent will move the numbers. I'm holding both of my 2024 FS CyberBeasts, I look every day for zero %
I'm in the market for a third, still trying for a 2024 FS Beast, I might have luck going to Starbase!

I'm guessing this is partly to reduce the number of pre-HW4 vehicles that will eventually need upgrading. Tesla can resell the used car, but without the FSD licence, so the new owner won't be entitled to an upgrade.

I am thinking the same thing, I read somewhere HW5 might be out and announced on April 1st, however I am skeptical that an April 1 meeting will occur.

I looked to day to order a new 2026 Cyberbeast, 10-12 weeks delivery time, this might all coincide with HW5. HW5 is almost a requirement for Robo Taxi in a Cyberbeast is what I read

Elon said 5 days ago the design is almost complete and should be ready for production middle of next year.

Edit: All RT currently and even the first Cybercabs will have HW4.

ok we are behind, good for now, but I can't for the life of me figure out why FSD is going to a subscription, 80 months to break even, I paid for one FSD and got a second one with my second beast as part of the lux package free lifetime FSD

There's a few reasons:

1. California ruled that Tesla had to change the name of AP and FSD by February 14th 2026 or lose the rights to sell cars. (they discontinued both instead)
2. Elon has to get to 10 million FSD subscribers to get his pay package.
3. Almost no one purchased FSD (take rate just hit the teens in 2025)
4. With Subscription, Tesla doesn't owe upgrades to anyone. (Additionally IMO) The same goes for lawsuits based on missing timelines which Tesla has lost a few with FSD. They aren't held to that with Subscriptions.

Grok is meaningless. I would bet we don't see AI5 until sometime in 2027 as Elon has said multiple times. Elon is optimistic on timelines. He's rarely early.
