Well another winter is here and another year of cleaning off my headlight to see while driving at night.
I am wonder what others are doing for light at night? I have seen a few bull bars with integrated LED lighting, a few Baja fog lights, and a few others.
What I really need is something that works! So what are you using, your setup, power supply, give me all your details. I can’t keep driving dark at night.
If you can also supple links I need to purchase something soon. I have been forced to drive my 2014 S RWD when it’s heavy snow because I can’t see with my trucks lights.

Yes it’s very different for me. The LED headlights create almost no heat or at least not enough to melt snow. It takes a certain type of snow to cause a problem for me but when it does it’s a PITA

fog light kit installed in the front bumper will solve this problem. Cheap ones will cost you less than $200. A good fog light (ie baja design) will be around $350.

Yeah, I feel your pain. It isn't always a problem, but when it is, it really is.

The stock lights sit fairly low. I'd want aftermarket lights to be at least that high, ideally a little higher. I'm not really interested in the added weight and drag of a bull bar bumper system. So I've done nothing because spring will eventually arrive... 😎🤣

Here are photos of the issues we were having, along with our solve from a different thread. We just installed a bumper lightbar with an added amber tint and it’s been outstanding! We had 7ft of snow over several days in the Sierras, along with freezing rain, single digit temps and snow storms that were dropping almost 2” per hour. The lightbar was a game changer for us.

Since you mentioned snow and ice, everyone prepared for the weather?

Start planning. 👍🏼

Note: it’s funny how many photos of the Cybertruck don’t show the headlights, many first assumed the light bar was it.

Hope you all keep your lights cleared in the coming weather.

This is 100% an issue for anyone driving in snow - snow simply builds-up on the ledge of the bumper and blocks the headlights (which produce no appreciable heat and are incapable of melting any snow or ice)
Couple the blocked headlights with the lightbar at top of frunk reflecting off of falling snow and you've got a recipe for serious challenge when driving at night in full on snow
Until we get the option to dim the frunk lightbar, aux fog lights (as above) painters tape on the lightbar is the best option
