Over here on the east coast (at least around the Maryland/VA area) we went from a huge glut of in inventory trucks over the summer to.. a lone RWD and a lone 2025 Beast. A new order, right now, starts at '6-8 weeks' regardless of configuration (unless you want one of those two sitting in inventory)... It was '2-3 weeks' back in September, '3-4 weeks in October, and of course, had flipped to 6-8 weeks by the time I pulled the trigger this past Wednesday night. (I saw the note about 2.49% ending on Dec 4th and decided it was time)

I mean, I guess the upside is.. freshly built truck! Downside.. I could end up with a Holiday Week / EoY build. :(
im in a similar boat. Definitely a gap in supply up in the north east. Do you think a holiday week/EoY build could be an actual thing? I’ve never heard of that in regards to vehicles.

Well, it finally happened, after waiting over 9 weeks, i finally got a vin for a 2026 AWD CT Tac grey/Cyberwheels. Glad to finally see some movement!
Nice bro, congrats. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly here on out. Definitely share pics and experiences. I ordered 3 weeks after you and my estimate is 12/18-31 so in line it seems

After renting one for a week, and enjoying my MYP for 2+ years, I pulled the trigger the day before Thanksgiving and ordered an AWD, Grey, Cyber Wheel. Over time my thoughts went from "I can't wait to get one" to "ehhhhh - I could do without it". Thus, I rented one to see how it drove and I was sold, as was the wife.
I'm in NJ.
Has there been any consistency on the timing of receiving a VIN after placing order (8-9 weeks)?
What is typical timing after receiving a VIN to receiving the CT?

I've had my AWD cybertruck for about 3 months and love it. I've only mostly positive responses to it only one one finger salute (that I know of(. because of the radical design I gets lots of inquiries and am able to expound on the benefits of Tesla and self driving. FSD 14.2 works great.

Happened to see an AWD available on the existing inventory when it was updated so I took that. My original order had an ETA of dec 28-31 and now I scheduled for a 12/21 pick up!

Finally got some dry weather here in the PNW! Polished the CT with Barkeepers and Sprayaway, looks fantastic. Have been driving non stop, cant get over the 4 wheel steering and quiet, smooth ride! Easier to drive than my Model Y.

Did you notice when you picked yours up that it had a lot of those small little kind of rust spots? What did you do if at all to address that?

I initially tried baking soda, vinegar, spray, dish soap, and water with no avail. I heard you’re supposed to consider barkeepers friend as last resort. I have citrisurf 77 which is recommended by Tesla too but weather here hasn’t cooperated with an outdoor wash yet.

Yup, had a few of the iron deposit spots, came right out with the cordless polisher and barkeepers soft cleanser, followed by Sprayaway glass cleaner, rags were black, and that was after i had pressure washed and soaped down the whole thing. No more orange tinge either!
