I routinely charge to 80-85% and only charge to 100% when going on a trip out of town.Do you routinely charge to 100?
I can’t bring myself to do that, even on a road trip. One trip there was a long way to the next charger and Tesla said I needed at least 92% to make it. I went to 92 and unplugged ASAP. I figured they factored in dummy proofing and didn’t want to stress the battery.I routinely charge to 80-85% and only charge to 100% when going on a trip out of town.
By THIS you mean regularly charging to 100%?Been doing this since 2019 on the following vehicles with no problems and only about 2% loss of range.
2019 Model S Raven
2021 Model 3 Performance
2023 Model S Plaid
2024 FS Cyberbeast
2025 AWD Cybertruck
I still have the 2024 Model S Plaid & the 2025 AWD Cybertruck.
Only when going on out of town on long trips every few weeks. I charge to 100% the night before leaving the house. Then drive until lunch time and have a nice lunch while it charges to 100%. Then drive until diner time and charge to 100% at a supercharger or the hotel charger overnight.By THIS you mean regularly charging to 100%?
Same. We have free supercharging on both the x and the truck so the night before a trip is basically the only time I charge at home other than pulling in on fumes for whatever reason.Only when going on out of town on long trips every few weeks. On shorter trips I just let it charge to 80% by default.
no, i extrapolate off of a lower %, i typically see 325 with ATsJust curious, is everyone charging to 100% each time to get their “official” range?
Math says 317.5 (254/.8)2024 FS AWD 8,741 miles 254 at 80% math says 304.8 at 100%
Charging to verify
Edit cyberwheels with AT tires says 316 at 100%
Since when did tesla care about trivial things like math or physics?Math says 317.5 (254/.8)
They use EPA estimates for range as is standard, but there’s an insane amount of math and physics that goes into their cars. Go troll somewhere else.Since when did tesla care about trivial things like math or physics?
