ABR is great for pre trip planning and especially when towing. Being able to predict how many stops and what route to take while not in the car, and set parameters like departure energy, etc is really handy. San Diego to Crater Lake for example.

For those areas that still doesn't have Tesla chargers I bought the adapter. Worked great on my last trip when I realized my mobile charger was not working properly.

seriously was. We had a trip to White Sands planned and we did that. When we finished that the route planner at first was saying arriving with 0% but then it changed to 1. I decided I was going to risk it and drive like a grandma. 55-57 in a 75 zone. Gained 3% by doing that.

I was seriously sweating stranding everyone in the truck today!
AAA has a charging service. Also for long trips through areas with limited charging I'd recommend bringing Honda EU2200 or two (parallel). Also having a long beefy (12AWG) extension cord is useful as there is always 120V somewhere. But hey, you probably don't even have a spare tire...

Never used it myself, but I think the major limitation is that they're not offering it everywhere:

If you run out of charge, we will come to you and give you enough boost to get you to the nearest charging station or home. The best part – for AAA members, this service is provided at no additional charge.

Yeah. Probably not in the places people like us would need it. Likely intended more for first time EV users stuck in a Best Buy parking lot 200ft from a level 2 charger.

Do you have the plus membership? Are you someplace safe?
Our driver will be there very shortly. Don’t worry, they have one of those jumper packs and the towing company they work for responded to a call on a Tesla once or twice in 2018.
Everything will be fine.
Thanks for being a loyal member for 35 years.
