I don't think it's weird to have two trucks. My next door neighbor, who's had a Cybertruck reservation for a few years, is keeping his F-350 Powerstroke after he takes delivery of his Cybertruck. He just bought a new Tesla Y which he's keeping as well. He suggested I keep my RAM and also get a Cybertruck. I considered it but wasn't able to sell the idea to my wife (especially since I want to keep my Porsche too ?).
yeah, I'd keep the Porsche for sure! ? I'd keep my M3P too as the resale is shit (probably give it to one of my kids) - but I have space constraints (still need a 7 car garage but not at 8% Interest)!

Literally just spoke to company wrapping the truck. They’re going to see what they can do. I’ll be filming tomorrow the installation process so I can provide an update on the scratches at that point.
Results? Inquiring minds want to know.

My CT was delivered to my house. It had 26 miles once delivered, 22 miles would have been from the Tesla center to my house.

I'm having some of the same thoughts, although after waiting a while bought a Model Y in 2022 as the Cybertruck still seemed a way off. I'm thinking maybe just keep the Model Y (which I love) at least until (and if) the Cybertruck prices come down significantly. I was intending on using the Cybertruck to travel but it turns out it probably won't work out as well for camping as the Model Y. Wish there was a CyberWagon as the Model Y is comfortable to sleep in and the CT looks less so (and no cabin access from the bed). Wish the Y had bidirectional power though. As you mention, efficiency is also better in the Y. So, pluses and minuses. Decisions, decisions...
Any reason why future model 3 and Y updates wouldn’t couldn’t have bidirectional power.

I'm sure it *could* be added, but I think that feature is designed into the upgraded electrical architecture. I would expect to only see it on new models, not updates. The other consideration is: does the pack size (say on a model 2) have enough capacity to make the option viable? We may only see it on larger new models.

It's a significant hardware update and could be possible. But I suspect that Tesla is going to see what the uptake and use case is before putting into other cars.

PowerShare implementation and use requirements are pretty steep.
