Potential for "rent-to-own", i.e. you take over loan payments and then balloon payment and sale after a year, just to avoid Tesla's resale clause. If there are several people interested in this then apparent trustworthiness would be prioritized over sale price.

This is not legal advice, however you will most likely still carry the liability of anything that may happen with this vehicle based on what you are proposing. . So if he dies in the car or kills someone, you better be prepared to have all the proper legal paperwork; indemnification clauses that are properly formatted according to your state rules, umbrella insurance, etc. For every one person he kills with the vehicle it will cost you $1-2M. If you have $3M umbrella, you may get away with two deaths. Don’t trust me? You can let the courts and millennial juries decide that.
