I'm on the lookout for some beginner-friendly off-road trails in Southern California where I can take my shiny new Cybertruck for a spin. But here's the thing: I've never really done any off-roading before. ? I'm eager to experience off-road driving immediately without diving into anything too intense or damaging my new truck. Anza Borrego Springs area has plenty of easy trails. Highly recommend for beginners.. added plus very scenic

Area accessible to off-roading in the Western States has declined by about 80% since the 1970's. It wasn't that long ago you could drive almost anywhere you wanted. The number of gates and "No Tresspassing" signs has exploded in the last several decades.
