This took us a lot longer to develop because Colored PPF is different from Gloss/Matte PPF or Colored Vinyl. Since Gloss/Matte is transparent, our kit goes right to the edge, making the installation much much easier. The vinyl kit is much thinner, so folding over edges is also easier. The Colored PPF, on the other hand, is a challenge on the edges, and we spent a lot of time trying to develop the best design + techniques with DIY in mind. You'll easily spend more time on the edges than the panel itself.
Also, all our designs between Colored PPF, Colored Vinyl, Clear PPF are all slightly different. They are different products, so we could just do the same thing 3 times, but we spent R&D each time to do our best to provide the best experience.
We split the courses into three sections: Foundations, Installation, and Maintenance. In Foundations, we go over all the foundational information, such as squeegee techniques, tools, trim removals, and prepping. The installation covers all the panels and edges. The maintenance section covers what to do after the install.
