TL;DR: Is anyone else consistently getting alerts within minutes after charging at a super charger?

During my first 1000-mile road trip (500 there and back), I stopped at 6 superchargers. Within 4-10 mins after leaving each one, I would get the rear axle steering disabled alert. After one of them, I got the Critical Issue alert forcing me to pull over. After that one, I was able to power off and on to continue the trip.

I took it to service and they replaced "rear steering gear" and reinstalled firmware. Now, I'm 500 miles into the same trip and, after stopping at the first 3 superchargers, the same things have happened again. I have now booked service again for when I get back (if I get back).

My question: Has anyone had this experience where the CT just doesn't like charging at the SCs? When I charge at home, I have zero issues. During this trip, other alerts seem to pop up ("adaptive ride control degraded, traction something, automatic emergency braking unavailable, etc.). I am in a colder environment than when at home but the lows are in the 20's and 30's, nothing crazy like some of you are dealing with.

I wonder if there's a connector that's unhappy with the thermal gradient while in the cold, supercharging.

That would be difficult to diagnose.

I took delivery of my new AWD cybertruck on Dec 20. Immediately started getting these CRITICAL ERRORS after supercharging. I would unplug from charger and within 1/4 mile of leaving I would get the flashing red screen and lose acceleration, regen braking, rear steering, leveling…”Pull Over Safely” with loud warning beeps. Alert on the screen said that exiting the vehicle and re entering may fix the problem. Once I exited and got back in, the screen reset itself and I was able to continue my drive with no further issues. Only after supercharging. It is currently at the SC being looked at. Haven’t heard any news yet…

You got it worse than I did but sounds like similar issues. The critical error is coming up about 30% of the time for me after leaving a supercharger. My SC appointment is today so taking it in shortly. Will update this thread with what I learn for any others getting this.

Cybertruck was in SC for a week for repair. The first diagnosis was air pockets around the battery internals causing cooling issues. Not sure what they did, but this did not fix the problem. The second fix was to remove and replace the steering column control module. I have run it through the supercharger 3 times since picking it up and no issues!!!
