I installed a set of Method 705 18” wheels with +18 offset and Toyo 305/70R18 AT III EV tires. I scheduled service at the Roseville SC for wheel alignment. After arriving, I found out that Tesla SC will not perform the alignment service due to the non-OEM wheels with the +18 offset. Note: I did ask the question in the service messages, but didn’t receive an answer.
Has anyone had their CT wheel alignment completed by a non-Tesla service center?
Grok did provide a good check list the includes suspension height setting and alignment specs.
CORRECT PRE-ALIGNMENT STEPS (5 Minutes)
1. Park on level ground
2. Enter Service Mode Plus (Controls → Service)
3. Chassis → Ride Height → Set to Standard (locks 355/360 mm)
4. Drive to shop in this mode
5. After alignment: Chassis → Alignment & Tires → Clear Straight Ahead Offset
6. Drive 10–15 mi
ALIGNMENT ANGLES
CYBERTRUCK ALIGN (+18 OK)
F: 355mm | R: 360mm (±5)
Camber: F -0.3° | R -0.5°
Toe: F +0.05° | R +0.08°
Caster: +5.8° | Thrust: 0.00°
+18 offset = NO spec change — just +44 mm track width
