because down force is better than up lift when you want to stay on the road and air resistance increases exponentially with speed roughly equal to your speed squared. meaning the faster you go the stronger the force on the spoiler. so if you double your speed you multiply the force on the spoiler x4
heres what grok says

Yes, the core of your statement is true
from basic aerodynamics.Downforce vs. LiftDownforce (negative lift) presses the car onto the road, increasing tire grip and stability—exactly what you want for better handling and staying planted. Natural body lift (positive lift) does the opposite, reducing grip at high speeds. Spoilers/wings are designed to generate downforce, not uplift.Air Resistance and SpeedAerodynamic drag force (and similarly, downforce from wings/spoilers) is proportional to the square of speed (v²). The formula is:Force = ½ × ρ × v² × A × C
  • ρ = air density
  • v = velocity
  • A = reference area
  • C = coefficient (drag Cd or downforce/lift Cl)
If you double your speed (2v), the force quadruples (×4), assuming constant density and coefficients. This is standard physics for high-speed flow around vehicles (confirmed across sources like Wikipedia, Physics Stack Exchange, and automotive aero studies).Force on the SpoilerThe "force on the spoiler" refers to the aerodynamic load it experiences (pressure differences creating downforce). Since downforce scales with v², yes—the faster you go, the stronger the downforce becomes, multiplying by 4 if speed doubles. This is why race cars with big wings feel increasingly planted at higher speeds, and why downforce becomes more significant on fast tracks. One minor note: In heavy rain, water droplets can slightly disrupt airflow (increasing drag a bit and sometimes reducing downforce efficiency due to surface roughness or boundary layer effects), but the fundamental v² relationship still holds, and any density change from rain is negligible. Your point stands solidly.

There are a few (3):

(1) I have this one:
Tailgate Lip Spoiler - CYBERTRUCKco
I had a problem with the front tips curling up for some reason (maybe new product), however, they sent me out one free of charge to replace it.

(2) There is a similar one by:
Cybertruck Rear Spoiler ABS Tailgate Lip Spoiler for Tesla – EVBASE-Premium EV&Tesla Accessories

(3) DO NOT BUY. There is a GARBAGE garage/hand made wing by cyberwingz. It is utter trash, badly laid fiberglass (there are even patches over mistakes) and unusable to re-paint or wrap. They painted the wing with a rattle can, color was scratching off. The whole wing has a 'dip' into the middle. It bolts to the rear mounts, the screw rusted. And worst of all, well second to worse. It blocks the bed so you have to lift anything big, over it. Did I mention overpriced crap, $1500? If anyone is interested, I'll sell you mine for $500 + shipping. Its just wasting space in my basement. Maybe someone clever can fix it.

The nice thing about the first two I mentioned, it's easy to install, not obnoxious and lightweight. You don't have to worry about the sill flying off.

I don't know what you guys use the bed for but I use it like a truck bed for moving things tools, parts,
building materials, party supplies and a spoiler well its just a party spoiler in the way and not helping.
