Rear flood light DIY

The reserve lights are 12v not 48. Have plug and play harness for the reverse light, simple easy morimoto boost bar add on.

How hard is it to get to the reverse light wiring?
F150 it is two bolts on the side and super easy, not sure on the CT but could sure use more light when backing up and that Morimoto looks like a nice option.

Did you just mount it to the license plate?
Just curious why you made 2 adapters? Or is it just one and you showed both ends? Just don’t understand why there are 4 total connectors? I feel dumb

The kits came with 4 so I just made another adapter for my brother’s CT

Interesting that you’re not getting any alerts for the trailer. Is it possible that it is the truck senses it when you have the other wires connected for the brake and turn signals

I had to hull a 12 foot stepladder one night and I plugged a strobe light in the 4 prong trailer connector. the truck showed the trailer mod and a light fault but wen I started to drive the trailer mod went away and all was normal.

still a question: how hard is it to get to the reverse lights to connect the custom connectors? And to wire everything up? Really want to do it but it was a bit of a pain when I added my light bar just above and to each side of the license plate …
