Mars Adventure Gear was founded in a home garage in April 2024. Unlike many aftermarket brands that simply resell products from the same suppliers, often using identical promotional materials, photos, and videos, we started as a passion project after failing to find gear that met our standards.

We’re a group of outdoor enthusiasts with years of experience in the automotive industry. From day one, we knew that great gear must go beyond functionality—it should be aesthetically refined and purpose-built to meet the demands of modern overlanders.

From a single Tesla Cybertruck to a growing fleet that now includes multiple Cybertrucks, two Rivian R1S, and a Rivian R1T, our engineering vehicles have expanded alongside our business. In the past 10 months, we’ve launched over 15 products for the Cybertruck, 4 for the Rivian R1 series, and 2 rooftop tents designed for all overlanders and campers. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from hundreds of happy customers is what drives us forward. Thank you!

Rooted in California, Mars Adventure Gear was built on originality, not imitation. Every product we offer is designed in-house, born from real-world needs and refined through hands-on testing. Unlike many aftermarket brands that source generic parts, rebrand and repackage them, and call it a day, we create purpose-built gear from the ground up. We don’t settle for off-the-shelf solutions because we know our customers expect better, and so do we. You’ll never see photoshopped promos or generic stock images from us. Every photo we share is real. Captured with our actual gear in real-world conditions, just as it’s meant to be used.

A SCIENCE-BACKED APPROACH

At Mars, performance isn’t a guess, it’s engineered. We’re likely the only aftermarket brand in the overlanding space applying aerodynamic simulations to optimize our product design. From airflow and drag coefficients to real-world range impact, we factor it all in. Our team understands that thoughtful engineering isn’t just about looks; it’s about how a product performs at highway speeds, in wind, rain, and rugged terrain. That’s the difference between “good enough” and gear that actually makes a difference.

We’re not the cheapest, and we never will be. That’s because we’re committed to delivering uncompromising quality. We source top-tier materials from around the world, rigorously vet our suppliers, and don’t greenlight production until prototypes are fully validated. Even after launch, our work doesn’t stop.

We constantly listen to our customers and make iterative improvements based on real-world feedback. It’s how we build products that last and how we earn our community’s trust, one adventure at a time. We don’t just sell gear and disappear. Unlike faceless brands with delayed replies from overseas time zones, we’re proudly based in California and here when you need us. We’ve built a growing Mars Community of hundreds of customers who share feedback, stories, and adventures, because supporting our users is just as important as designing great gear.

For brands that have infringed on our intellectual property and patents, we take these matters seriously and will pursue all necessary legal actions to protect our work. Innovation deserves respect, and we stand by the integrity of what we build.
