He did a good job with this. CT isn’t for everyone (yet) but it’ll work for 99% of truck owners and be far superior at most tasks.

The unfortunate thing for this truck is it’s out of reach for most people’s budgets and people are too closed-minded to give it (or EVs in general) a chance.

If the definition of a real truck is a thing with a bed that drives like shit and has the maneuverability of the titanic, then no, it’s not a truck.

But in terms of utility, it’s absolutely a truck.

The only real issue is ultra long distance heavy towing. Then yes, get gas.

If "ultra long distance heavy towing" is the use case, then a 1/2-ton truck is not a good choice, gas or electric.
