I had a tire repair performed today, inside tire was a sensor attached (see attached picture)? according to “Grok” this sensor is specific to CT tire which monitors tire pressure, temperature, wear, load and even road conditions and beams information back to on board computer. This is addition to mounted TPS sensor. If this is the case, it makes me think of all the discuss on this site about everyone looking for a better CT replacement which will deliver increased tread life. I would assume other tires would not have this embedded sensor. I would also assume information sensor is beaming to computer is not critical to CT operation? (This an original tires on my CT)
