I thought this was an interesting article, hopefully the link works....

It's an interview with George Saliba, owner of J&S Autohaus. He's got an entertaining YouTube channel.

He describes the Cybertruck as a great and fun vehicle, but attributes the challenges in selling it to political factors (according to the article—not trying to spark a forum debate) and its price .

I’ve not read the article, but the first thing that pops into my mind is that Ive not seen a used cybertruck at a significant discount to date. When I purchased my cybertruck recently at a discount from Tesla, car companies were asking more for a used cybertruck than I paid for mine. Not that I did an exhaustive search.

Business Insider, Electrek & Jalopanik all have extreme negative views of Tesla.
I do like constructive criticism, though but not these-won't even read/click the link.

I keep running into a paywall even googling other links for this article. But I believe the premise of it from other publications on the Cybertruck production numbers etc.

I bought my foundation three weeks ago on a whim because of the price. Less than 20,000 miles, looks completely new inside with a wrap for 75. I think I also qualify for the rebate. The Audi dealership knew nothing about it to the point they didn’t reset the old owners info. On the way home at the power station it charged to the old owner. It’s been a steep learning curve based on YouTube videos but making fart noises when my grandsons get in makes it totally worth it.

If you can't read the story, try this link.

I thought it was a relatively balanced opinion, with both positive and negative comments. His experiences seem to echo what some other people on this forum have been saying.
I was one of the first in New Jersey to drive one, and I couldn't go anywhere without getting talked to ... There are no real issues with the vehicle. It's a great vehicle, and it's still fun to drive and it gets attention ... About 60 days ago, the market for selling Cybertrucks took a dip. It now feels like I cannot sell a Cybertruck to save my life. To me, the strongest impact that kind of crushed the market was the political stuff.

Contact the Audi dealer and have them notify the prior owner to drop the vehicle from their account if not already.
