Great news, Breezer windows just finished designing their removable rear window system so that you can sleep in the bed of the truck in comfort.

https://breezerwindows.com/product/tesla/

The special thing about this design is that it can be purchased with a hose setup to push 2nd-row air conditioning into the bed while the truck is in camp mode.

This is an awesome solution for camping and it will go well with the systems I have next to put into the cyber truck, like a bed, refrigerator, microwave, tools, and accessories.

Below are the latest design photographs and I will be adding to these images with more photos and videos as soon as I get mine installed.

I plan on crossing the country with my Cybertruck with this design in 2025.

I was hoping to reach thru to grab snacks or whatnot, but pretty sure my arm would barely fit even if the grill was removed. This obstructs rear view when tonneau is open too. Not sure I camp enough to want this on the daily, can already run a hose out another window...

How much were you going to see out the window anyway?

I just want it for the fresh air and managing the pressure differential.

Mirror is currently useful off-road, with people or pets in the bed, in the dark, when hauling dirt bikes or anything with tailgate down, or any other time rear camera is useless. I like driving with tonneau open a lot and prefer the mirror over camera. Making the tiny window smaller with dense grid would hamper that significantly. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to have an option for rear window airflow and this is slick. Just wish it was clear and had as thin frame as possible.

That's... a minority opinion, but it's an opinion. Anyhow, if you don't focus on the grid, you'll see through just fine, just like our ancestors looking for lions through the leaves of the forest.

Gee, and I was just looking for something I could open and close.

I hadn't thought of using a grill... I wonder if they would make it with mosquito netting instead?

The tunnel cover does not have a sensor to stop when opening, so if you have an item through the rear window and somehow the tunnel cover is opening , it will not stop.

Can you provide any details on how the install goes? How handy do I have to be? I have no idea how removing the rear glass works?

It reverses after enough force (found out one day when it partially rolled up with an L-track hook caught inside)…but I would really want to see a manual cut-switch relay that activates when the window is removed and cuts the power to the motor or controller. This could be a simple pig-tail style relay/switch extension cable that plugs in between the body controller module and the actuator itself.

Pretty soon... on the Breezer website...

Option Two:
No mosquito netting ---- $0.00
Mosquito netting ------ $199.00

I can’t tell, but looks like you have both options - open window, opaque abs, clear abs, and a mesh with air hose connection. Would probably attach a insect screen to the mesh insert for camping.

Same question…would really like to see a non-destructive method to remove the rear glass.

Most questions that start with "How do I remove the....?" for the Cybertruck are at least somewhat answered in the Cybertruck Service Manual, which is available to all of us.

Here's where you'll find the answer to your question.

Don't try this at home, children, unless you have an Equalizer Express 360 (220V) and know how to use it.... (Caution: knowing how to do a Google search and skimming the results is not the same as "knowing how to use it.")

This isn't correct.

it would crush anything that fell into it opening or closing and probably violate NHTSA's safety rules.

Not that I stick my fingers into it, but sheesh.

I was curious and read the description of what they were using thise tools for...

People doing things at home aren't in a time crunch and don't need a fancy power tool to cut urethane glue. That tool is just an industrial version of an oscillating cutter. You're not supposed to be cutting the glass!

At least read the instructions before you assert what someone needs to have.
