Has anyone installed this or the same EVbase model bull bar? It looks good, but I it impedes the headlights. Evbase has it 50% off, makes me also think its not selling and maybe there is good reason.

I have it from @TLYARD but they only sent half the mounting bracket.
I have been corresponding with customer service for four days trying to get the other half. Still trying to find the half black half white goat with one blue and one green eye to sacrifice and send video evidence in to prove I indeed only have two hands and not all the parts.

Precisely why I won’t buy aftermarket garbage anymore. If it was necessary, Tesla would produce it and I’d buy it from them. Everything I’ve bought from the Tesla shop has been seamless and easy. Everything I’ve bought aftermarket has disappointed in one way or another. Never again.

@TLYARD I bought it, Instructions doesnt talk about camera. Do i need to remove camera assembly and mount it to the bar?

Exactly and you lose the ability to use the camera washer and expose the wires to the camera to easily get damaged.

If you decide to mount the camera make sure you turn off the truck and hopefully it won't cause the camera error making you go into service mode to reset the cameras to fix it

Thanks! Did you install it? If yes, did you use camera mount? Also how did you cover the camera wires?

I didn't like how exposed the camera was and the loss of the washer was a deal breaker for me.

If I could have kept the washer I would have wrapped the wires in something like metal split wire loom.

Which part?

Not moving the camera blocks a bit of the view from the front camera.

But moving it to the included mount deletes the ability to wash the front camera and exposes the wires if they reach.

Lose, lose if you ask me.

Thanks. I ended up not removing and installing camera mount. I rarely use it and when I do, I look at road only. Only 1/3 of top view is blocked, I will live with it.

it look awesome though and complement my running boards.
