I talked to a guy with a Cybertruck at a Supercharger the other day and I asked how he liked it. He said it was awesome, but was surprised at how often he was getting double “fingered” while driving it. He asked me if I experienced this (I have a 2015 Model S), and I said in the early days I...
Tire wear depends on how you drive and what you buy. My Dodge 2500 diesel is the same weight as Cybertruck, but since I don’t abuse the power, my tires last.
Is this a solution in search of a problem? Headlights icing over does happen .. but it is so infrequent that just getting out and manually removing the ice is the simplest solution IMHO.
Studs are a night and day difference on ice. If your winter conditions have ice regularly you will love studs. They are a bit noisy at low speeds .. like driving on gravel .. faster speeds are no issue
Dude .. we are all anonymous here. People with winter experience know headlights can ice under certain conditions.. nothing controversial about what I posted.
More accurately, almost all trucks are lifestyle trucks of course. 75% of truck buyers never, ever tow. Only 35% use the box, and few ever go off road. Of the 25% who do tow, 1/2 tow less than 100 miles. The CT is perfect For 85% of truck buyers. I agree that for people who tow long...
I think there is a good chance Cybertruck will last 2x longer than a similar gas or diesel. The trimotor is a beast as well, so you get more truck vs anything you can compare it too .. and you have to give it some value for that. My math shows a savings in fuel and operating at over $50,000...
I guess you didn’t read the analysis on this. The fire department put the fire out in 2-3 minutes then simply monitored the site to douse hot hots after that. Basically some bad actors blew up a tragic accident into a Tesla story. The car was not self driving and could not have been self...
Agree 100% .. my expectation is Tesla releases a few different batteries. The new leaked batteries are likely just for Semi and Plaid cars. M3/Y will get Lithium iron cells with a million mile duty cycle maybe and a price drop once implemented ... or something like that.
50 amp breaker, 40 amp charging should be fine. I installed 80 amps for my MS, but never use it at 80 amps .. no need. Tesla wall chargers are nice and not expensive ... installed It myself and saved a lot!
I see little value in a spare since tires are so good nowadays. I drive a lot .. 2X the national average ... and I’ve had just 2 tire issues in the past 30 years. I’m fine without.
No question Cybertruck will tow. With 1000 est HP & torque the only question is range. The key advantage to EVs is lower costs and longevity. Cybertruck will cut fuel costs by 2/3, will be much lower in repairs and maintenance, and will likely last 3X longer. While an ICE will likely tow a...
