    How to use 15k

Approaching 10 to 1 in favor of NOT keeping your debt lower when you decide to buy something you apparently don't have all the money for in the first place... The lenders are winning. And yes, you COULD make more money in the long run by finding another vehicle to put your dough in. But you...

Tesla excluded from Texas automotive incentives [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

Hold up a sec, you live in The People's Republic of Virginia and are saying crap like this??? Please, stay there, continue to pay your exorbitant taxes and be under represented, and don't come here... I have never lived in a bigger asshole State than yours and never will again. Please stay there...

Does wall charger need to be plugged back in after use?

By not keeping the car linked to the wall connector, you are missing out on quite a bit... but it isn't absolutely necessary. You will want the wall connector in an area that can receive wifi, if at all possible, as that will enable some good linkage with the mothership you will want. You...

    Starlink satellite launch

HATE Starlink. Gets in the way of my astrophotography... I can process a lot of it out, fortunately. I GUESS I can forfeit some of my personal freedoms for the advancement of humanity however... ;) All these are from my driveway... Every one took some extra processing to get rid of the...

If you want an BEV truck quickly, Rivian is the way to go.

Hey Dude; Wider vehicles are great IF you can actually fit them on the trail or ledge you are on (or make one...). I have always been surprised what a narrower wheel based -and quite heavy (armored, dudes in the back, etc.)- is capable of doing, though. Driving a pretty narrow, top heavy...

If you want an BEV truck quickly, Rivian is the way to go.

I wasn't comparing it to the Rivian. I was asked why I didn't think it would work in Moab... And all the Rivian glam shots and vids don't have much to do with the trails and off-roading I am referring to... What kind of CT owner are you going to be? SS

If you want an BEV truck quickly, Rivian is the way to go.

I think it is too wide for many of the cliffs and still doesn't have a lot of ground clearance. I also am waiting to see what the tire options are, as that definitely has impact. Love the low COG, but that is just one of the many things that influence performance. Jeeps and other toys get away...

Exactly right. Line was used to keep the Jeep from tipping, not as an arrest. It worked. And the guide was totally safe, he knew where to stand to avoid getting squashed. We defeated every obstacle placed in front of us. That was the idea, doing things you didn't think were possible. If you...

If you want an BEV truck quickly, Rivian is the way to go.

I’ve driven that very V Ditch in a Rubicon with a few mods, nothing special. We all did it a lot faster than that photo op and I don’t even remember using a ground guide for it. There are certainly 100s of other spots in Moab I’d fear to take a CT, but that isn’t one of them. Edit: Pics, so you...

I doubt it was on auto-pilot (or whatever they call it ...) Someone out enjoying that torque and speed and not realizing 2 1/2 tons will obey the laws of physics. Even if it doesn't feel it won't right up until the point it does... I've over-cooked plenty of corners, thankfully not that bad and...

    Cybertruck Size & Inconsiderate people

I won’t get righteously indignant like a lot of responders here. But I bet there is a reason you haven’t heard from your legislators… Given several other things of precedence going on, try to focus on what really matters, Mano. Life’s short, move on.

Replacement tire price will be a shock

Telling vehicle when / how much to charge

Several great apps out there that answer all these needs and do so easily. You will not have any problem setting charging regimes, limits, or times. As has been said, they will also track your energy use for you. The Tesla app, on phone and car, is simple and basic. As normal, third party apps...

    Elon on SNL

Let's be real, he was bad and that show was pretty bad. He's not an actor, and for someone on the spectrum, it is heartening to see him pushing his boundaries. It was also great to see him out there and clearly having fun. Since that is what the show is for, a big win. The Dogecoin tank being...

When to install the garage charger for your CT

My dude... You're a researcher??? That chart is whack. You have a Wall Charger, the least you could do is use a better, more applicable chart, such as this, to support your argument... https://www.divineelectricnorcal.com/tesla-charging-charts/ Go ahead, do your adds and takeaways, I'll...

When to install the garage charger for your CT

This both inaccurate and setting yourself and others up for disappointment. Even if it charges at half the rate of the 3/Y, which it won't (IMO), you are looking at a day max from zero to hero from the Tri-motor. If it charges at the same rate, you are looking at 12 hours, and how many times are...

Edmunds: Tesla Model Y versus Shelby GT500

I think you are missing the point. By putting it up against the slowest "P" Tesla makes, it said a lot more that way, didn't it? At least it sure did to me... It's not at all about the money/price. If anything, it's shameful just what a "pregnant catfish", as someone referred to the Y's in...
