The camera ones aren't the only feeble clips. Changed my windshield wiper last week and somehow broke one of the clips holding the washer hose in the wiper arm.:(
Well I just received this email tonight. Am interested but with all the feedback of people having problems with it, not sure I'm ready to bite. Also looking at possibly moving next year so hoping the deals will still be there next year.
I live in North Dakota and get my AWD last December. Had the all-seasons and they weren't very good on the compacted snow or ice so ordered the winter tire package from Tesla after a month. Very happy with their performance on snow/ice/mud.
I caught that and was very happy to hear that. Not sure if they use two inverters on the semi since it will need so much power but if the Cybertruck has an inverter that is put to use in a Class 8 semi that means there will be lots of power available. Heavy load or not, the Cybertruck WILL haul ass.
At least Lutz hasn't gone down the Gordon Johnson route of still saying Tesla is doomed. He still has things he will nitpit about Tesla, but is now mostly is quite praising of what Tesla has done.
Maybe could have added a few links at the end to counterpoint his assessment 3 1/2 years ago.
In my earlier post, I did qualify that 300 miles worked for a car. But I'm hoping to be able to afford a CT version that gets 400-500 miles. I don't tow much but having less than 150 miles range with a load would be a pain. Not enough charging stations around my locale for that to work, much...
And by the time they would ever start producing a car like this, 1000km range with no be a big thing. Yeah, it might be nice to not have to charge if your a 20 year old wanting to get from point A to point B in a big hurry, but as Elon has said 300 miles(500km) is enough range. The ability to do...
Maybe they are collaborating with Neuralink? Or maybe they have an interface that won't change how you operate the phone with every upgrade to the OS.
Tesla has more than enough on their plate, so please just get my CT out the door with the 4680s.
Or maybe the government should subsidize taking the ICE vehicles off the road. As we transition to EVs, the ICE vehicles will be worth next to nothing. The lower and middle income folks that delay on switching will be hit hardest as their second most valuable asset becomes worthless.
Didn't...
It isn't actually the size of the battery that matters but rather how far you drive in a day and what the vehicle's consumption turns out to be. That's probably going to be about 420 Wh/mi. If you drive 100 mi per day then you will have to load 42 kWh meaning you'll need 42/0.9 = 46.7 from the...
The joy of driving from a young age soon turns into a boring, tedious task. Some people enjoy it longer than others and certain roads/vehicles can bring back that joy. But those who resist progress on FSD are also ignoring the fact that highway fatalities in the US are in the mid-to-high 30,000...
I would hope that they plan to at least double the Superchargers in the Austin area. I hope to go there to pickup my CT like many of you and there maybe many MY customers that will want the same thing. The factory itself may become a bit of a tourist attraction for EV owners as well so having...
The "Fool" is just a stock advising outfit with many different contributors. Some of their articles this year were even advising 'buy/hold' this year even when TSLA was around 800/850. And I think most of the Cramer/Fool/et al are just piling on TSLA since the stock has dropped to around...
Oh, but what a wonderful nameplate with the "e" highlighted. They say that the Hummer will start production this fall, but won't give a time frame for the Chevy pickup. Definitely not a Ford fan, but at least they are working to get the F-150 EV out this year or early next year. And really find...
Not using mine for a business but thinking I might put a wrap on the doors. Even with using FSD, I'd like to know which CT is mine in a parking lot filled with them in the future!
Don't know if they should get too excited about Ford sales. I'm guessing the Ford numbers are for Mach E sales and not deliveries.

Hoping Ford does get it sorted out tho. Every BEV sale is one less ICE sale.
Yeah, can't wait for them to expand their coverage past Cali. Imagine an insurance company that doesn't spent a bunch of money on advertising and making sure they are as profitable as possible(within state regs).
So when they say "Tesla Energy", I'm guessing that the production will be earmarked for the Powerwalls and Megapacks. Don't recall that any of the Battery Day presentation discussed how the 4680 cells would benefit the Powerwall and Megapack batteries, but more density and faster charging and...
