It hasnāt been that long since the alignment, but I do expect it to wear better in the front now. I hope I keep a better eye on it to see. I noticed the uneven wear, even though it had been in the shop for something else and they didnāt mention it a month earlier.
I saw this today on Woot if anyone was looking for a truck tent. Seems a good price if it works. I donāt know any more about it. But if I needed one I think Iād get it. https://sellout.woot.com/offers/golabs-truck-bed-tent-for-5-6-ft-bed-3?utm_medium=share&utm_source=app
I had something similar and it ended up being a faulty drive inverter they replaced. I got a loaner and it took them a week to get the part in and replace it under warranty.
My 2018 Model 3 got 40,000 on each set of tires, but my Cybertruck got 18,000 with terrible wear on the front. I never felt anything different while driving, but it needed an alignment. I called many shops in the area, including those who regularly worked on Teslas, but none would touch it, so I...
Iām at 18,000 and my front two had very uneven wear that I should have noticed sooner. I replaced all with OEM and got an alignment. The backs were still pretty good, so Iām hoping I get around 30,000 on these.
Thank you for the comparisons. I have the S6 and itās fine for the occasional airing I do. I like seeing all other options that are out there, though.
I had similar issues a couple of years ago when FSD stopped using the radar in my Model 3. I did have the luxury of rolling back to no FSD and did. In that case without radar the car would stop at oncoming headlights, tar marks and other false positives. My husband refused to ride in the car if...
3 years ago my Model 3 with FSD did a similar swerve, and once saved me by stopping on a dark road when it āsawā a truck with no tail lights stopped to turn left ahead of me way before I could. The tech was great then and continues to improve. Iām sold.
Iāve done this at numerous locations and it didnāt change how the truck reacted. My local road has been fine for years and only with the last 2 quick updates has started acting up (and my road is so small it has no speed limit signs). I went through the removal of radar in my Model 3 which made...
I have too many roads where the truck says speed is much higher than it actually is. Out of my driveway the speed is 25 and the truck posts 60. I guess Iāll wait on this update. I wish sloth were 10 below, chill was set speed, etc. and those speeds could at least be set in settings.
Not my Cybertruck, but the Model 3. I did immediately slow when I saw the car in my lane coming towards me, disengaging FSD. But hard to read their mind so that I didnāt also try to pull over, which would have made things worse. In the end they lost control, crossed back over the road and jumped...
I donāt think mine came with it. Iāve hit my head a couple of times and it hurt. Iāll order and add these. Iām trying the silver, but I will probably face that in. That looks better in your pictures.
Oh, and I checked around and found a service center that would get me in the next business day. Iād heard horror stories of waiting weeks, but I guess I was lucky to have a choice in repair centers.
My appointment went from 2 days to a week and a half, but I suspected it would with the errors it showed. They did give me a Y loaner, which made hauling hay and shavings difficult, but my brother has the GMC electric truck and his was in service for 2 or 3 months, so I counted myself lucky. Iām...
And you might not realize you can push the right hand scroll wheel left and right to change the driving mode, chill to standard, etc. I change modes depending on highway or neighborhood driving. Or if I want to stay in the right lane for an upcoming exit.
I grabbed a picture yesterday of where I put the weatherseal stuff on the bed. I had just unloaded hay, so itās not typically that messy. Itās held up pretty good after a year of abuse.
I drive a gravel road regularly and bought this stuff and put it along the edge of the bed, skipping the vault area (this is longer than needed, but I figure when it wears out with hay hauling, etc, Iād replace it). I think it helps with the dust getting in. Hay in the tonneau tracks is the...
