The Carbon Fiber ones work perfect, 6 months in south florida heat through the summer and not a single problem, no warping, still look perfect like the day I printed them.
i have them on the core wheels. No rubbing that I’m aware of but I’m getting some creaking in the suspension that Tesla service is blaming the spacers and won’t investigate it until i remove them. Anyone else experience creaking noises?
Checking in for an update, were you able to finish your modifications? I need to reprint mine, they are warped really bad. Here they are removed and sitting on my table.
Looks good, i wanted to let you know, there's a way to hide that wire if you go through the B pillar and pop out up top through the gromet for the lightbar wiring. Much cleaner look.
The sound has gotten worse for me, it's so bad. I just don't think it is supposed to happen. I've owned 3 other Tesla's and they don't do that. I'm going to mention it again on my next service appointment.
Would you mind sharing your adjustments? I need to reprint these. I printed them in PETG as suggested, but let me tell you that won't work in the heat. I'm in south florida and it's out "winter" and they only lasted two months. They are both kind of warped from the sun already, one is worse than...
Cool, glad you got them installed ok. I was lucky enough to have a shop do it for me as I don't have a jack or lift stands to accomplish the task myself.
@Bobio, thank you for the insightful information however I love my spacers and i imagine that @bdesign is going to love them too. I know that I'll check on the torque of the lug nuts to ensure they are good and if I feel that there is any vibration or wobble, I'll check it out. Other than that...
Your sentry system will alert you far in advance if someone is trying to jack your rims. Also I would image that the Cybertruck is not easy to jack up compared to other vehicles due to the weight so it's likely less of a target for rim theft.
Yep i taped a garage clicker remote under the screen in the truck. Hides it well and i just reach under and click the buttons for the gate and garage. Simple and effective. Once they update it to include gate functionality I’ll subscribe.
Only problem with the MyQ subscription and Tesla, it only works on Garage doors, not gates. I have a liftmaster gate which is MyQ compatible, shows up in my MyQ app. However, when I tried out the 30 day subscription trial on the Tesla, the gates are not yet compaitble. Sucks. Come on Tesla!
There’s an entire thread of people pointing out that you didn’t take over in time, should have been “supervising” and are sensationalizing an otherwise legit point. End of story.
