Yup. Definitely getting some phantom braking. We are seeing it in the same part of one road we drive.
Like you say, it is very strong braking, emergency level, not great.
My driverās side rail was vibrating at certain speeds and it was annoying and I was worried it would get worse, come off during a long trip, or in traffic-so I got mine replaced.
But, if I were you, I would not do anything right now. Let your service center become more expert at the replacement...
Congratulations on getting it very good Iād say.
I had mine done. After repair, one side was pretty much perfect, the driver side was high near the truck bed connection(see below photo). I complained and they did it again. Still high. I complained and they worked on it for another couple hours...
Yup. My passenger side one is fine. But my driverās side one, near the back, will make an annoying noise at 50 or 60 or 70mph. Depends on crosswinds etc. I can see it vibrating if I aim the mirror up that way.
I use a cover. The one I bought is black with some green stripes that are probably reflective, and it cost about $86. Pretty happy with it. The OEM one looks a lot better. However I think the review posted above mentioned the OEM one seemed a bit easy to tear? And it is about five times the...
Thank you. Excellent. Really appreciate the write up.
I wonder if you could activate the light bar with a voice command? Iām pretty new to the CT, but, for example, I do āOpen the glove boxā pretty frequently, instead of tapping.
A few of us are writing about the same issue here.

To sort of recap my situation. I have the CT Beast. Everything great for some months. But soon after latest...
Thanks for the post. My CT started doing this same behavior yesterday.
I tested it today at a local SuperCharger also, in town, and same thing, blinking amber.
I am not a powershare expert. But I had powershare installed a couple weeks ago. When you say you tried killing the power inside the Tesla Gateway. That is interesting. I havenāt tried messing with that.
Okay. Hereās a couple things to look for. In your CT, do you see a place where you can...
I was looking yesterday and saw the add below.

Looks like $350/wheel+tire.
Iām trying to decide about a winter wheel/tire option. Ideal would be the winter tire offer from Tesla, but they have been...
Thanks for posting. Great video. I know it was a lot of work.
I have only read parts of the CT owners manual, but they mention taking off those small plastic bits around the tires for off road. Not sure what is involved in that.
I noticed the CT was sideways quite a bit, which Iām sure was...
Really sorry about this for you. Iāve seen such cool wraps, really tempts me. But Iām worried about having your experience. Hope you get a great result in the near future at another shop.
For sure waiting around for a tow sounds bad.
Side point and Iām not expert, but I thought thefixa flat stuff can cause problems for the tire sensors etc? Not trying to start an argument. Maybe the stuff has changed and itās now easier to deal with. Or maybe thatās an old wives tale.
Pretty sad story. Iām going to go on a rant if I donāt watch myself, so Iāll keep it short. This is something that should have been taught to the service tech on day one. Like someone above said. It gives me a really bad feeling that the guy/gal didnāt know how to handle this. Not someone I want...
Thank you. I researched that and threw it in my cart this afternoon. Just was deciding if it was worth $50 to make my $70 inflater work. Based on your recommendation, Iāll probably do it.
