  1. Market for Wheel Covers in DFW?

They were going for >$2,000 6 months ago on ebay. I'm happy with $400. I like the look of my center caps only.
  2. New Backup Switch from Tesla

Okay, this is good news. I though the backup switch redesign was months off in the future. Please keep us updated for when the new backup switch is installed.
  3. Market for Wheel Covers in DFW?

I sold my set of 4 (new unopened) for $400 here in the LA area.
  4. Powershare update from Tesla (10/16/24): activation wait period, Powerwall, solar, backup switch

Link to post by chance? I'm only going to be in this house for another 2.5 years so this whole system will likely never be used by any future owner unless all EVs start supporting this standard.
  5. Powershare update from Tesla (10/16/24): activation wait period, Powerwall, solar, backup switch

Bad news, my installer said that the Tesla Backup Switch is being redesigned and instillations with the Backup Switch are on pause until it's redesigned.....who knows, it could take a year for utilities to approve the new part on top of that.
  6. Powershare update from Tesla (10/16/24): activation wait period, Powerwall, solar, backup switch

Ah, I don't have Powerwall. I'm mostly concerned with the Backup Switch aspect. Tesla isn't doing great with the whole Powershare ecosystem. They really need to put more effort into this.
  7. Powershare update from Tesla (10/16/24): activation wait period, Powerwall, solar, backup switch

Where did you hear end of 2025? The Powershare website says "end of the year", but that is old from 2024 and hasn't been updated.
  8. Powershare update from Tesla (10/16/24): activation wait period, Powerwall, solar, backup switch

Yes, I'd have the Powershare Gateway installed. Backup Switch + Powershare Gateway + Powershare Wall Connector.
  9. Powershare update from Tesla (10/16/24): activation wait period, Powerwall, solar, backup switch

Any updates on Powershare + Backup Switch working? The public Powershare website still says it isn't supported. I'm with Southern California Edison who recently approved the Backup Switch. I'm looking to have Powershare + Backup Switch installed on my house that has existing Tesla Solar. Does...
  10. Powershare: Configurations, Availability Timeline, Install Requirements & How It Works

Is Powershare + existing solar working yet? That's the only thing holding me back. I have a Tesla (Tesla inverters) solar system already installed.
  11. Tire Inflator….may be over kill but works great.

One person is "almost nobody". The vast majority are going with 120V compressors and not some bodged together solution.
  12. Tire Inflator….may be over kill but works great.

Huh? I'd say almost nobody is doing that.
  13. Tire Inflator….may be over kill but works great.

The Cybertruck doesn't have 12V DC for most inflators so we are forced to look at 120V options. Also, the tires are massive and will overheat a standard portable compressor. Also #2....many people like to go off-road and deflate their tires so you need a good pump to bring them back up to...
  14. Tire Inflator….may be over kill but works great.

You're making silly points just to be "right". I prefer my $50 compressor that can gain 10 psi in one minute by using the tank. If I'm not using my four tire manifold to air up all four at once, the compressor can run continuously during the time it takes me to move from one tire to the next...
  15. Tire Inflator….may be over kill but works great.

It is not running at tank pressure. I keep the tank pressurized and the initial inrush quickly fills the tire until equalized at which point the compressor is running at tire pressure. Your pump looks good too, but is much more expensive. I also use a 4-tire manifold hose setup. The compressor...
  16. Tire Inflator….may be over kill but works great.

Be careful with that Craftsman. It says 5cfm, but that's at 0psi for inflating something like an air mattress. At the common standard of 90ps, it's probably a comically small number like 0.1 scfm and likely has a 5-10 minute duty cycle. This is the one I use. It's a "real" compressor with no...
  17. FSD V13 begins installing to Cybertrucks! -- V13.2.1

V13.2.1 just installed on my Cybertruck! I'm a few hours from getting off work, but can't wait to test it out! I'm an "OG" FSD beta tester from 2020, so not sure how soon this will go wider. I'm stuck on HW3 in my Model 3 so I haven't been getting the latest builds on that car for a while.
  18. While on FSD and clearly marked roads, does your CT hug the left line and occasionally go over it?

It depends. I've definitely seen it hug the left line, but on subsequent drives it does fine. Some weird software glitch. In this situation, if I manually drive, the lane departure warning will go off if I move to the right even if I'm still in the lane so it's as if it is detecting the right...
