I just got mine back from service for this. I would get same errors as your first screenshot once every couple of weeks. They replaced abs module. Iāve only had it back for a week, but no errors so far.
My results were different. With a two foot magnet for less than a month, it left 20-30 spots like this. Most small ones removed easily with BKF, but the larger ones only removed after many applications of BKF and are now discolored.
Obviously different than a wrap, but I had a 2ā magnet on my door for a week (advertising a league I run) and it left rust or something in the metal. Couldnāt be removed by washing or ironx. Used BKF and was able to get most out in a couple rounds, but if I went far enough to get all the way out...
āand FSD will just do the right thingā - thatād be cool if it did. It currently chooses speeds incorrectly at least once every FSD drive I do. But, itāll get there.
Iām at 6,500. I donāt think mine makes a whine on acceleration, besides a slight whir that actually sounds kinda cool. The whine for me is just while coasting at slower speeds. Iāll take a video so you can compare.
Mine does not sound like that. Mine has a whine but itās intermittent, almost cyclical, as Iām maintaining speeds 20-40, and quieter than the sound in that video. Still annoying if no music on.
Thereās a highway that I drive on a few times a week, which is 65 for most of it but has 3 small stretches where it drops to 55. Iāve tried different speed settings and no matter what it will not slow down or speed up through the transitions. The display will change the speed limit, so it knows...
Thanks for the suggestion on the tent. Used it last night and it worked great for me and two of my kids. Fit perfect in the vault, and I love that it literally takes seconds to setup and takedown (rare foldable that isnāt impossible to fold up). I put a queen size blow up mattress underneath...
Wish I had a better report to give, but after 9 days at SC, they released it saying theyāll send the data to Tesla engineers and let me know what else they want to try at a later visit. I told them about the forum posts with identical issue and that rear drive unit seemed to be the common fix...
Mine is at SC right now. They diagnosed it and confirmed the issue exactly as weāve all described it (between 40-45 mph and 5-10% regen). They havenāt said what theyāre going to do about it yet, other than saying it would take a month+ to get the new motor delivered to them. Iām fine with that...
I just did a 9 day trip, decided to take a shuttle to the airport since I didn't want to leave my CT in the lot. I have Sentry turned off when at home. Started with 80%, was at 43% when I got back.
Also, I'm pretty sure there was at least one, if not two, different updates so far that reduced...
