Same. I have an early 2024 model (VIN under 2000) and I still have not received my update. I also purchased the TSportline roof light bar and was going to install it, but now that we're seeing some issues with accessories I am hesitant.
I'm envious of all those who report more than 15k miles with the OEM Goodyear tires. I only drive my truck local for a few miles a day and got 10.5k miles on mine.
my household has had multiple Teslas (S, 3, Y) going back to 2014 and we have averaged replacement tires around 16-25k when even...
Has anyone noticed rust on the lower part of their doors where the seal meetings the panels? I live in Ohio so my truck has seen salt during the winter months. I am wondering if others are experiencing this too?
Same. I've tried to bend the arm, smash it up near the top, etc and still to no avail does it wipe cleanly. When it rains it's slightly better and tolerable, but as the rain dies down you can see the streaks start to appear near the top 18-24" of the wiper.
I it't more annoying than a safety...
I don't use the easy entry so we can rule that out.
I thought it was the tires rubbing on the trim like you hear in some other vehicles if you oversize the tires, but there is plenty of clearance so like others I am puzzled.
Same.
I've experienced this 3 times, but can't replicate it on demand. It seems to occur when parking/after parking and then I turn the wheel a little more. It's a loud rubbing noise coming from outside the truck, but I can't determine what's causing the sound.
Agree! I also did the recall with motor and they replaced the arm and blade too. It's terrible and no matter how much washer fluid you use it still smears.
the spray is the same. it wipes clean on the down stroke, but leave a little but of liquid/dirt on the up so you toggle your wiper again to get it clean on the down, but then gets messed up on the up hahah.
btw the two parts on my invoice are:
Correction: Windshield Wipers and Motor - Wiper...
I have a VIN under 2000 and also received a new wiper motor, arm and blade when I did all of the recalls last month. For the first 2 weeks I experience the phantom wipe during the first few mins of my drive, but after the FSD 13.2.2. update it seems to have gotten better with a phantom wipe...
Closing the loop on my OG question. I opened up Gateway today and found the correct QR code with the PW/SSID. For me it was NOT on the inside face or door, but actually in the unit so had to turn off my main breaker and open unscrew with inside cover to access.
I hope this helps someone else!
Same. There is another thread on this and I can't locate the the correct QR with the Password and SSID because both that are in the gateway (front cover and unit) are not the right ones.
For the ones who have been able to pair, what/where are you scanning to get it to paid with your app?
@Mal What did you use for your SS ID and password?
The two QR codes inside my gateway done is on the door and one is on the inside of the unit) or not code for the Wi-Fi and password.
Any help on where to find the credentials?
Did you install first and then spray or spray and then install? The head of the screws look "filled" so it looks like it's going to be a PIA to get those things off if you ever need to unscrew.
Do you happen to to know the size of of the hardware? I'm thinking about ordering now so that I...
"The minus is the bolts and washers are zinc coated, not stainless steel."
Lame. I don't understand why these accessories companies do this. They all make great products and then cheap out on the hardware. I had issues with the bolts for a rack that I purchase from another accessories...
Same.
I'm taking mine in tomorrow for the cable, front / rear inverters and a few other things. After looking at the service guides for these things my truck is pretty much going to be stripped and rebuilt with a few "missing" bolts :(
