So I had the rework done and they added one(1) slat. This helped mitigate the amount of water a good bit, but I was still getting more than I would have liked. I could still see where the water would run down the back window. Upon inspection I found where some water was gaining entry because...
So update on mine…
1st I would like to say the Service personnel at the Center were courteous and extremely helpful. It was a pleasure dealing with them and they were nothing but professional.
For a recap, I dropped it off for defective passenger side marker light not working and the Tonneau...
You need to print a copy of the “Tonneau Rework“ service bulletin and bring it in with you. It has pictures and all so you can show them yours is out of spec just like theirs is.

Well with this issue having a service bulletin I would have them fix it anyhow. Per the manual a little water/condensation is expected. What we have is excessive.

This is what will help everyone!!!! Thanks for sharing. I see it also states to add 1 additional slat instead of 2 as before. It was changed 10-7-2024.
Servic tech just got back with me regarding the tonneau issue. He said they would have to do a water intrusion test before they can make a determination. Stated the owners manual says it is not “water tight” and some water/condensation could happen inside the bed. Will keep y’all updated.
