Are all your events in the southwest/California area?

need to have an east coast version!

Yes, so far… we generally focus on the southwest, but expanding eastward isn’t off the table. Stay tuned as we grow!

Ok, I bit the bullet and signed up for the January event.

However, question:
Although I own my CT since August 2024, and have driven 17K miles with it, including long road trips, I have never been off road with it. Is this event suitable for an absolute novice like me? I am not the most adventures person, and going off road for the first time in a group setting sounded to me a good thing, with advice/help/support available that I most likely would need. Is that a good thing or would I slow proceedings too much for the other participants?

Any pre-event advice, things I should know, things I should bring, to make this an enjoyable event?

We will be sending out an info sheet with all the details soon. This one being a multi location adventure will have on pavement about 80% of the time heading to various iconic locations. Trail difficulty on this one will be low to moderate. We will trek through the history and beauty of the desert. Visit abandoned mines throughout the trail or set up camp away from the crowds. This trail is appropriate for any high-clearance 4x4.

GmP this is exactly the kind of event a novice Cybertruck owner would both enjoy AND learn about going off roading!

This group is an AMAZING group of people, every single one of them is helpful, courteous and willing to help each other out if needed and to tell you how to setup your CT for that particular run/event, etc...

Although I and my wife can't make it to this one (prior plans for my wife's business) I can't tell you how much I will miss it! I have done Glamis, Pismo, Trona and more with this group and it's been worth us driving 4-6 hours to get there... Camping out with everyone is a blast too!

Things you should bring are some recovery gear (if you don't already have it - at least a tow rope, soft shackles and some boards), something to 'air down' your tires (they make kits fairly cheap, but if you don't get them, someone will let you use theirs), an AIR COMPRESSOR is a must have! Make sure it's one that can handle truck tires, they are bigger and take more air and pressure. We like the FANTIK X9 ourselves, it's a good one for single tires at a time... There are others much more powerful and you can get a 'kit' to do all four at once, but it's up to you...

Bring SUNSCREEN!! Even in winter, you can get burned... And LOTS OF WATER!!

Lastly, read up on going off road with your Cybertruck from the Tesla manuals and such... They will tell you a lot and you can practice the settings and such in a parking lot or your driveway if you want to just to get used to seeing them all...

Hope to see you on one of the other Cyber Odyssey events in the future!!

All- our January event has reached max capacity. Be sure to sign up for updates on our website for further event announcements at www.CyberOdysseyUSA.com
I signed up and got charged (back on 12/23), but I never got an email for the sign up. When will we get more information on the trip and how to plan for it?

Maybe a hint: I also thought I did not get an email, but in reality I received it, it was in the junk folder. Looks like my Apple Mail didn’t like the “outlook for iOS” link in it. if not done already, maybe check your junk folder? Email from Brian Lovell

Thanks! Yes that was it. Gmail also flagged it as spam. But what's weird is I got the original email about the trip to register.

Thank you! Great point! We will have the outlook quote removed from future emails to avoid this. Thanks again
