Gotcha. Check your grounds..I had an issue with my trailer first tow and this truck seems more sensitive to weak grounds. My model y towed this same small motorcycle trailer last time and it didn't find any issues. The CT made me find a slightly cut intermittent ground wire.
Are you referring to the warning that you're going to hit something when you reverse with a trailer attached?
If so I agree this is anyone as hell. When "trailer mode" was first introduced the backup warning should be disabled when towing is engaged.
It's in software:

I'll probably tow something Tuesday. I'll play with it and see what it allows. I'm assuming it won't since they haven't accomplished unsupervised driving yet but who knows.. I've been a Tesla owner for 7 years and nothing surprises me in that...
All wheel steering is better for towing in all regards. The initial adjustment to the difference is needed but after you've got it it's good.
I've towed a lot and it's a game changer. Especially in tight spaces.
If you're right any flaw in the entire system for monitoring speed will shut down all other monitoring systems... Sounds like a software revision is needed. I really could use my backup camera at a minimum...
Sounds right. I was hoping for less dependencies in this design... Drivetrain failure from an interior light issue. Lol
I might order some wheel speed sensors for each wheel now that we can order direct so I don't have to wait for a sc appointment. ?
Yeah, the common adaptive ride control error the night before. The cameras worked with that error and GPS. That's so I have on my end. The SC said they ran remote diagnostics and the wheel speed sensor was showing an error. The service rep said the sensor could cause these issue..?‍♂️
So woke up to no cameras, CT thinks I'm always at home, and no camera based tasks! The night before I had a weird ride adjustment error that I fixed with help here in the forums. I have a service appointment next week but man it sucks having no cameras and having to adjust to this. The turn...
