I was driving in a restaurant parking lot the other day, in the dark, on FSD, looking to leave the parking lot. Suddenly the truck slowed down as if to stop. Frustrated, I pressed the accelerator pedal lightly to disengage. That's when I saw the girl, in my A-pillar blindspot, stepping out of an...
This happened to me after service center cleaned the windshield behind it. They made a mobile service visit to fix it - required adding a few pieces of white tape on the clip holders that helped it stay clipped into place better.
I didn't update the software when prompted in the app a couple of days ago, now it's not showing in the Tesla app. Do updates become unavailable if you ignore the prompts, or did Tesla pull this one back due to so many issues?
This is not my panel. It's from your images. The dead panel (not the front door, the inner dead panel) actually has a lip that can pinch the harness. Poor design.
Here's a video of the electrician testing it out...
I wanted to follow up on my earlier post about my Powershare gateway suddenly going offline—no grid data in the app for months (it had been working flawlessly from my February install through July).
I couldn't connect my phone to it, no QR code, and Tesla's diagnostics kept pointing to an...
I'm holding off. Mine are stuck on there great. If they did separate, I'd probably glue them back on rather than have the dimple and misalignment that will catch at car washes.
I also have no recent data available. Reaching Tesla for support is a nightmare. After waiting on the phone for an hour, they accidentally disconnected me, then didn't call me back. I called the next day, and got someone after an hour wait. They ran some tests on their end, and said it was an...
But if the lightbar was installed higher than the sunroof, cranking down on the bracket may actually stress the glue joint.
Honestly, the fix is poorly implemented:
1) assumes all lightbars have been installed flush with sunroof, otherwise it will put stress on the glue joint when cranked...
From the photos in the service bulletin, this fix assumes the lightbar has been installed correctly in the first place, so that it's flush with the sunroof. Many that I've seen have been installed higher than shown in the photos below, which means the bracket won't fit properly without some kind...
Installed yesterday morning but didn't get to drive it until last night. It started from inside my garage, backed out to the street, and headed to my destination. Navigated a bit too close to the other cars in the driveway when backing out, but still fine. Took me to my destination, but then...
