    You could have achieved the same “look” without as big of an efficiency hit if you’d go with a wider offset wheel, or even spacers, instead of such a wide tire. Less chance of rubbing too.     I think ford started theirs around 2017, but not certain. They’re the only brand I know that uses a 3”. Everyone else uses 2.5” as the largest (I have a Ram 4500 as well) I think you are right about CT being a 2.5 too.
