What I'm going to do right now is to believe that Tesla will have a solution for roof panel storage once production begins.

I can't see them using a simple air compressor, however an onboard hydraulic type unit might work if the heat of the unit can be regulated properly. Anywhoo - my best guess is that they will be installing something that no one has invented yet.

Why would you cancel your thrust order? Couldn't you have used the "thrust money" to upgrade your performance with everything when it came out? I'm sure there will be options available at every level.

You going to daily a $250k+ vehicle? You would be the first I've seen do that. I'm going to insure it as a non-daily. I'm wondering what your insurance costs are going to be as a daily.

I put down $50k - 2 years ago. Then Tesla had the reveal - resulting in me having a performance roadster. Then 10/16 I received an email from Tesla that I could upgrade to the Thrust. Then 10/18 I put down an additional $200k. Now the thrust is my reservation.

Excellent point - I'm driving my $250k vehicle every mile. I mean - is anyone planning to use a roadster as a daily driver or something? Maybe there should be a poll on this.
