FSD V13 begins installing to Cybertrucks! -- V13.2.1

I tried it out this morning. Overall a much smoother drive but it's still absolutely terrible at choosing the correct lane to be in. It spent a decent amount of time today cruising in the dedicated left turn lane! It knew that it had to turn right in a couple blocks too. After about a block it...

    Protectaclear by Everbrite Worked Amazing!

Had it professionally applied, but it started coming off in weird blotches. They blamed it on potentially being a bad batch, and then they stripped it off and reapplied it. After the reapplication I followed all directions, I let it sit for three days and then only ever washed it with Dawn dish...

    Protectaclear by Everbrite Worked Amazing!

It didn’t work out for me. After two professional applications I’m still having issues. Getting it stripped off this week, and maybe going with PPF, we’ll see

Towing a Pop Up Camper up a Mountain

Very handy! This trip makes me think that maybe I won’t need the range extender that I pre-ordered after all. I’ll wait to see the final specs on it before I decide. I wish that Tesla would partner with some gas stations to replace one or two pumps with superchargers. Seems like it would be a...

Towing a Pop Up Camper up a Mountain

Trailer about 3,000 lbs. Maybe 800 lbs of people and stuff in the truck. If anything I’m overestimating on both

Towing a Pop Up Camper up a Mountain

Trailer weight is about 3,000 lbs loaded. As you can see from the photos it doesn’t have a large area to catch wind. I didn’t track the Wh/mi on that trip but I suppose it used (123 kWh)*(80% - 35%) / 50 mi = 1100 Wh/mi going up the mountain

Towing a Pop Up Camper up a Mountain

I’ll be doing the same drive this weekend with no trailer, I’ll update the thread with my numbers

Towing a Pop Up Camper up a Mountain

Supercharged to 80% state of charge at the base of the mountain. The drive was 50 miles, up 7000ft elevation gain. Did not exceed 55mph. Arrived with 35% state of charge Supercharged at the top, but not too much. Left with 60% state of charge, got to the bottom with 60% state of charge (50...

    GPS not accurate, any ideas

How do I disable traction control so I can do donuts in the mall parking lot tonight? :ROFLMAO:

    GPS not accurate, any ideas

Mine did that yesterday, but it was just the compass, not the latitude-longitude. So on the screen it had me on the correct street but pointing on the wrong direction of travel the whole time which was really throwing off the navigation.

    Phone Overheating in Sun

You’re going to Uber in a Cybertruck?! ?

    Phone Overheating in Sun

Yeah, come to think of it I had this problem in my 2017 Yukon which had a wireless charger on the console armrest surface, and it was directly below the sunroof. At least with the sunroof there was a shade to pull closed, but no such option with the CT windshield

    Phone Overheating in Sun

Not sure if anybody else has had this issue, but the placement of the phone holder is directly underneath the top of the windshield, so mid-day when the sun is right above it is beaming right down at my phone screen and causing my phone to overheat similar to how leaving your phone face up at...

Cybertruck range while towing is HORRIBLE!

This is why I pre-ordered the range extender. Haven't heard any updates on it though
