I don't think it's possible to seal that corner area, you can't leave the rod longer because it will get caught in the track and mess up... -

New seat design. I much prefer the seats in my 2025 Model Y over the CT seats in terms of comfort/padding.

Like I said, it's already waterproof. Sure, dust can still enter if driving on dry, dusty roads but that's only 3 months out of the year...
