A guy at my office has a very early vin. I think he got his in March and hadn’t had any issues. I wonder if they were being more cautious before the ramp up.
I really really hope all this early repair data is making it back to the manufacturing team (who’s boss just quit) so they can actually fix this in production. Does anyone know what teslas process is like for ensuring these common problems get fixed in manufacturing?
Note, this isn’t about giving Elon money. This is about giving Elon back majority control so he feels like he has the power needed to steer the company after he blew all his shares with the mistake of buying Twitter. That’s it. So the question is do the shareholders take the hit for elons...
Tesla should have done something like this or gone with like an inflatable Heimplanet type tent. Like the one Alpha motors is proposing for their potential truck link. IMO the tent they have offered doesn't come anywhere close to lining up with the awesomeness of the CT.
I think, if priced right, the RamCharger is going to be a very popular vehicle. They are trying to say it isnt, but it really is a very powerful hybrid truck. They are saying that its not technically a hybrid because the V6 engine only ever runs as a generator and never directly powers the...
Yes. that is a safe estimate. The Tesla Wall connectors uses max 11kW at 48 amps. Tesla claims that will add 44 miles per hour, but we all know the real world range is much less than what Telsa uses. Generators are fairly inefficient. Less efficient than a ICE car. That 20 mi of range per hour...
A 10 kW generator will use about 1.5 gal of gas per hour and generate about 20 miles of charge. if your not towing. You will get about 10 miles per hour if you are towing. Either way, That should help you figure out how much gas you are going to need.
