Got back from a 5,900mi road trip last night and took a peak at my battery health this morning.

My FS Cybertruck (VIN 16,795) has nearly 29,000 miles on the odometer after almost a year of ownership, and Tessie (the data app) is still tracking my high voltage pack at 100% original capacity. ? 123kWh.

The truck's nav shows 313mi of the factory 318mi EPA-rated range at 100% charge. Tessie agrees with 313mi at 100%. Thats somewhere between 0.0-1.5% degradation after almost a year. Wow!

The dip in the graph is from my winter tires. Apparently that messes with the calculations, but I'm using the OEM All-Terrains now.

Maybe the 4680 is better than expected, or perhaps this is an outlier?

I use the Tessie app and I don't know if I believe the information that it gives me. According to it, I have a 2.4% degradation after 18,000 miles. Does that sound right?

I'm at 9 months and almost 17k miles. I am also at 0% degradation. Only time it dropped under 99.7% was when I was having to charge it in negative temps with only 110v 15 amp circuit and it was screwing with the calculation since all the power supplied to the vehicle was used trying to warm the battery in preparation for charging.

At 10k miles - my FSAWD still shows 310+ at 100% charge. I only charge to 100 once every couple weeks.

My charging is 90% using mobile charger at home at 32amps.

Sometimes if I don’t have anything planned for a day or two, I put it down to 10 amps and let it charge slow.

Think there may be something wrong with Tessie, every other Tesla I have owned has shown some battery degradation over 10k miles or so. CT still shows 100% battery health

@Gigahorse Yeah, I think something is up. Maybe re do the api keys? My Tessie is showing .75% degradation.

I can't explain the two blips up, but at 13800, teslafi reports my battery as having gained 0.13% range.

The fleet average when new on Tessie is rising as well. I suspect between that BMS update this winter and some undisclosed battery tweaks, pack capacity is up 1-2 kW. The BMS update hit about the same time that I stopped SC cold turkey. You can see the inflection point in my graph clearly. Hard to know the singular cause though it could be multifaceted.

The pack will actually be bigger than the 123 kWh (or whatever is advertised). The firmware decides how much of the pack is available by setting the "full" voltage and 0% voltage, etc. So there's room for some jiggerypokie in what is reported.

I saw step changes in reported range after firmware upgrades in my previous Model S, more than once so... I've become somewhat cynical I suppose.
